HOW OSTEOPATHY HELPS

What conditions do osteopaths treat?

Osteopathy supports a wide range of musculoskeletal problems, including:

  • Back and neck pain

  • Joint pain in hips, shoulders, knees, and more

  • Muscle tension and stiffness

  • Sciatica

  • Headaches linked to neck tension

  • Postural strain

  • Minor sports injuries

Can osteopathy help during pregnancy?

Yes. We regularly support people through pregnancy with safe, tailored techniques to ease back, pelvic, rib, and postural discomfort. See our dedicated pre and post natal website pages for further information on this.

Is osteopathy suitable for children?

Yes. Osteopaths are trained to treat people of all ages, and techniques are always adapted to suit a patient’s age, comfort, and stage of development. I treat children from primary school age and above, using gentle, appropriate techniques to help them feel safe and at ease.

Can osteopathy help with long-term conditions?

Osteopathy can’t cure chronic conditions such as arthritis or fibromyalgia, but it can often help reduce pain, improve mobility, and support your overall wellbeing.
